The 6th International Conference on Discovery Science (DS'03) was be held at the Hokkaido University Conference Hall, Sapporo, Japan from October 17-19, 2003. DS'03 was co-located with ALT'03, the 14th International Conference on Algorithmic Learning Theory. The two conferences were held in parallel, and they shared their invited talks.

The proceedings of DS'03 appeared as volume 2843 in the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence series of Springer-Verlag.
